Service tax on furniture and fixtures

Dear Sir,

 

I had a qurey regarding service tax on Furniture & Fixtures.

If a person giving his/her furniture for rent (Rs.1,50,000 Per Month) then - 

1.Is service tax is applicable on Rent on Furniture & Fixture ?

2. In which head a person need to charge Service Tax.

Yes. This kind of renting is taxable to service tax.

As far as the second question is concerned, are you asking the head under which the payment needs to be made?
