my question is that
can we collect service tax from clinet.
please note
we have just stareded a business and according to rule or service tax turnover should be 9 lakh for registration please guide 8446549649

its required to registered our firm for service tax or we are not comming under sub clause of service tax act.is it compalsary to us for registration
You may claim for SSI Exemption of Rs. 10 lakh as per Notification 33/2012-ST and should get registration on crossing Taxable income Rs. 9 lakh. However, you are free to not avail exemption and may charge and pay service tax. But then you will not entitled for exemption through out the year.
