One of my client is travel agent and he purchase the air ticket from direct airlines and also from air ticket agents. now i want to know what is the liability of service tax on him. in my opinion when service tax is already paid by airlines then he is not required to pay again.

If the option is exercised to pay ST on basic fare, the tax is currently at 0.6% on domestic basic fare and 1.2% on international basic fare.
