Service tax- not liable- filing returns & remitting tax

One of  the Client has registered for the Service tax and filing the returns since 2 years, however he is not at all liable for the Service tax at any point of time as his Service Turnover never crossed 9 Lakhs. He now does'nt want to pay the Service tax any more however will be providing the service.

Please guide how to stop remitting the ST/ Surrender the ST Certificate.

Go to aces site. after aces site go to REG menu in that you will find surrender option from that you have to surreender. 

Note: No Need to submit ST-2 with superintendent.

before surrendering ST-2 ensure the service is not at covered under reverse charge or other services where basic limit of Rs.10 Lkahs not applicable.
