We are in the construction Business. We have received the mobilization advance from Government for construction of the house. We are under the composition scheme. So, are we liable to pay service tax on mobilization advance received from the government?

YES Service Tax is payable on the mobilization advance received.

Service tax is payable on the services provided or TO BE PROVIDED.
