Service tax input credit query

Dear friends,

                        I am an part of Residential construction audit. In my company i have taken wrongly Rs.7000 as input credit against service tax payable. that Rs.7000 is paid as service tax for supply and erection lift which is used for my construction.. am i correct in taking input credit. if not tell me a solution??? pls?? very urgent??
