Dear, DIXIT We don have any specific act for service tax and more over its just the matter of rent from house property for that only documents we need to have the rent receipts if given or the bank statements if directly paid the bank statements. Hello Murali for your understanding it is not required that if the rent is from hyd it has to filed in hyd only as far as your issue is concerned do consult an good accountant no matter is it Cost accountant or chartered accountant both have through knowledge, in your area he it self will solve all your queries.

I meant any rental income not restricted to house property alone..!! Bank statements or rental receipts you issue are more than enough...!!

Your property is situated in Bangalore if residential house rented for residential purpose is exempt from all service tax.
