i want to know why the irctc charges the same amount of service tax irresoective of the amount of ticket.
if we book s ticket of 500 then ST ID 22.45 or of the ticket of amount 1000 the amount of service tax agian same.
what are the reasons for the same.

That all amount is not Service Tax. Rs. 20/- per ticket is Service Charge and balance is Service Taxi i.e. @ 14.5%.
Since charges per ticket is same so this amount come same every time irrespective of Ticket Value.
Thanks for update us to irctc charges, is we can know that charges information on irctc website after irctc log in?
