As per service tax rule 4(4) you need to intimate the superintendent of your range in written giving details of all the services you are providing. The superintendent after due verification of your application form (as per rule 5A) will grant a certificate of registration ST-2 within 7 days from the date of reciept. If no initimation is received from the superintendent within 7 days then the registeration will be deemed to have been granted.
