Service tax Applicable or not

If your annual turnover is more than ten lakh then service tax is compulsory otherwise optional.

I know if turnover exceeds 10lakhs, service tax is compulsory.

We are in hotel business and we are paying VAT also.... my question is

For outdoor catering :- Service tax applicable or not
