I PAID A MTNL BILL OF RS 25000/- IT INCLUDS SERVICE TAX ALSO

NOW THE QUESTION IS WHAT IS THE AMOUT WHICH IS SAY X + SERVICE TAX =25000/-

I WANT THE FIGURE IN PLACE OF X WITH EQUATION

Dear Sumit,

You have to go by the actual amount of the service tax which is reflected in the bill. Further you can claim the service tax only on the amount paid by you. Further, you should keep one thing in mind that the bill amount should be of equal or higher value. The amount of X is Rs 22665.46+ Service Tax 2334.54
