The threshold limit for taxable services was Rs.8 Lacs for the AY 2007-08.
The threshold limit for Service tax for A.Y. 2007-08 was Rs. 8 lacs. Hence, if you sales were Rs. 10 lacs, you will be taxed on Rs. 2 lacs only.
