Limit? for applying for registration.
Well, service tax payment is exempted for the first gross value of Rs. 10 lakhs in a fnancial year. You are expected to take registration after crossing the limit of 9 lakhs.
However, the exemption notification is voluntary. If you dont want to avail exemption and want to take credit of the inputs/input services; you can opt to pay duty any time you wish.
