We are in trading business, we use transport of goods by roads.
i want to know that .. whether we are Service Receipent OR Service Provider.

You are telling that Trading business, when u receive the goods, you are Receipent, when u selling the goods, you are provider.
EVEN U R IN GTA BUSINESS,U R SERVICE PROVIDER AND THIRD PARTY IS SERVICE RECEIVER.
THE STATUS WILL NOT CHANGE BUT THE LIABILITY TO PAY SERVICE TAX WILL CHANGE
IF U PROVIDE SERVICES OTHER THAN TO INDIVIDUAL OR HUF OR UNREGISTERED FIRM THEN EVEN THOUGH U R SERVICE PROVIDER,THIRD PARTY(SERVICE RECEIVER)IS LIABLE TO PAY SERVICE TAX
