Sir,

I recenty started an advertising agency providing space selling in electronic media.. I have printed some Brochure(around 1200 @ Rs.20/- per brochure) for a goverment department. What all tax I am liable to pay for printing.purpose. I have alrady got service tax number.

Advertising agency and providing space selling in electronic media is a taxable service. Upto the 10 lakhs SSI exemption is available. Printing is not a service and it is exempt from service tax.
