If Service has been taken In India from the sister/associated concern situated outside India... It attracts Import of Services... But when is the Service Tax be paid on that.. Is it when the Debit Note is raised in the books or at the time of making payment.
Kindly give reference of the Section in the Service Tax

For 2010-11 the tax is to paid on receipt of the amount but from 2011 April onwards it is the date of making invoices.

Yes, Mr. kanagraj has rightly said. The incidence of liability has shifted on earliest of the following events w.e.f the F/Y 2011-12:
1. Date of availing service,
2. Date of invoice and
3. Date of receipt of payment
