Service tax ..

As per notification issued in this respect, effective from 1sr May 2011

13 (zzzzv) allows 70% abatement for services provided by restaurants  (or what ever name called), with air conditioning in any part of establishment & having licence to supply alcoholic beverages.

14 (zzzzw) allows 50% abatement for hotels, inns, etc, which provide continuous accomodation for less than 3 months.
