As a retail shopkeeper of both un-stitched cloth and readymade clothes do we need to have separate GST number for both categories ? Or, there will be the same tax on all products
Right now, there is no VAT on un-stitched cloth, It is only on readymade products

GST registration will be same, only depending upon different products its code may change, but that is to be decided yet.
As per Revised Model GST, Chapter VI-Sec-23(2) of Registration, every person who is liable to to be registered under schedule V of this act, has to apply for registration "business vertical wise" within the state, but no need for product wise registration.
