After going through the contributions of the various students of CCI, I decided to post something that might be useful to you all…
We, the students at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh branch of SIRC and SICASA of ICAI, meet every Saturday at the branch premises during evenings and discuss about the difficult topics in CA course curriculum and help ourselves in clearing our doubts…
Here’s how we work out…
First, we invite suggestions about the topic we are to discuss in the following Saturday… through mails and SMS channels… ( the contacts are gathered by our Vice chairmen and the office bearers of SICASA )….
The students will reply to the info about the topic they would like to discuss… and when the topic is selected, we will invite the resource persons.. most of the time the resource persons are students themselves… Every student who is interested will prepare about the topic to be discussed and he will deliver on the Saturday …
This way, the speaker will have the following benefits…
1.) he will get complete knowledge about the topic discussed ( cause he has to prepare well to deliver well )
2.) He will get good exposure about the stage appearances and helps in vanishing the stage fear…
The listeners will have the following benefits…
1.) They can clear the doubts collectively…
2.) There will be a scope for group discussion…
3.) Moreover they can learn…
Sometimes our branch office bearers will help us in inviting the academicians and the chartered accountants to speak on a particular topic…
This way we help ourselves … so wat’s the heck about coaching.. is’nt it….
