if there is opening balance 

if u are drs ledger adjustment a/c - the opening will be in dr side (general ledger )

if u are crs ledger adjt a/c -the opening balance will be in cr side ( general ledger )

& WHEN U ARE PREPARING GENERAL LEDGER ADJT A/C IN DRS LEDGER THE OPENING BALANCE IN CR SIDE 

WHEN U ARE PREAPARING ""          IN CRS LEDGER  THE OP BALANCE IN DR SIDE
