The due date for paying self-assessment tax is before filing your Return of Income. For the Assessment Year 2019-20, the deadline for filing your Return of Income has been extended to 30th June 2020, meaning you can pay your self-assessment tax up until this date. Be aware that interest will still apply from the original due date.

There is no due date of payment of self assessment tax, it has to be paid before filling of Return of Income.

In the recent announcement the due date for filling Return of Income for the A.Y. 2019-20 has been extended to 30th June, 2020. So you can pay your self assessment tax till june 30. Interest will continue to apply.

As per latest update (press release) FY 18-19 related ITR date extended from 31/03/2020 to 30/06/2020...

you can pay & file on or before 30th Jun-2020...
