Section 44AD read with section 45(2)

suppose we have an immovable capital asset being an urban agricultural land. we considered it as a stock and applied section 45(2). so when we applied the above provision, such capital asset becomes stock in trade.

so my question in this regard is

whether can we apply section 44AD on sale of such stock in trade since I am an individual and this is eligible business....

Quick Summary
This discussion explores whether Section 44AD can be applied to the sale of urban agricultural land that has been treated as stock-in-trade under Section 45(2). The core question is whether land, when converted to stock-in-trade, qualifies for the eligible business provisions of Section 44AD for individuals. Participants debate the validity of treating land as stock-in-trade without conversion to constructed property and question the business classification for such sales.

Unless you convert the land to any constructed property your conversion to stock in trade is invalid.

Or sec. 44AD cannot be applied on sale of land.

Why invalid sir....

How can you justify selling land as business? what is its business code?
