If the individual assessee is registered under DVAT, can he file his ITR under section 44 AD of Income Tax Act by presuming his income of 8% or more.
is it mandatory for him to prepare proper books of accounts under 44 AB??

Yes he can for presumption taxation.
No he doesn't need to prepare books of accounts.
YES,,,,,,,,, HE CAN FILE ITR AS PRESUMPTION TAXATION AND NOT NEED TO MAINTAIN ACCOUNTS BOOKS, BUT DO NOT FORGET TO DESPOSIT I.T .AND VAT AS HE LIABLE
