Section 165 [2] Subject to the provisions of sub-section [1], the members of a company may, by special resolution, specify any lesser number of companies in which a director of the company may act as directors.

if a company wants to specify that its directors shall hold any specific no of directorships it shall do so by passing a special resolution than the number mention in provision of sec 165 (less num )
Means 20 companies if they exceeding means SR
one person can hold directorship between 20 com .in which require 10 companies are public company .
when directorship exceed more than 20 companies .within 6 month he informed to ROC about his directorship and select any 20 companies only
