Companies Act, 2013 offers certain powers to directors of the company to be exercised for the best interest of the company. Hence, the meeting called and conducted at the discretion of the Board is called to be EGM CALLED BY BOARD SUO MOTU, where Suo Motu means “on its own motion.”
