THE SECRET OF CONTINOUS IMPROVEMENT

The main  difference between the people in the rank-and file and the men at the top of business is this- the men at the top keen on learning, developing themselves and making improvements.

Success does not come with time.  It is not at all a matter of seniority and experience.

The men at the top climbed up because they STUDIED their jobs- kept on observing and thinking while they were at work.

The great man was not great when he started  his career.  Neither was he wise.  But he made himself great and wise by learning – learning – learning.

There must be the WILL to learn and succeed.  For lack of this a man will remain for 30 years stuck fast in a rank-and file rut.

The man who  keeps  on putting VALUE into himself – who tackles harder and harder jobs – he is the man who climbs to the top in his trade or industry and achieve success.
