Secondment of articles

I have got oppertunity to do my articleship in big firm for 5-6 months, plz suggest me also.

hey even iam working in a ca firm on secondment basis

first of all u have to understand that secondment is different from transfer, so the new regulations do not apply to secondment

in secondment the present ca if not able to teach u all aspects of training he can let u work in a big firm where all these aspects are covered

the total period of secondment in the total articleship cannot exceed 12 months

so if u are having an opportunity to work in a big firm subject to ur present principal is ready

u can work as a seconded article

but note one thing that during this secondment tenure, in the records of ICAI  u will b treated as an article of the CA who has seconded u and not as an articel of the firm or industry where u have been seconded

for secondment u will have to fill a form which is available on icai.org and submit the same to icai officials withing 30 days
