What formalities are to be complied with by the employer under whom secondment is made on completion of secondment ? What details are to be furnished by him(employer under whom seconded) to the principal employer ?

Can anyone tell me the meaning & procedure of secondment?
I guess no formalities are to be fulfilled.... Just go on a secondment without filling any form because the institute's website specifically states that no intimation need to be sent to the institute in this regard....
