Sec 80 TTA (Rs.10,000 deduction for Interest on Bank Savings A/c) is applicable from AY 2012-13 or from AY2013-14? It came in Finance Act 2012 ; but from which AY is it made applicable?

it is applicable for income earned wef 1/4/2012, i e., for AY 2013-14
