Can we make payment to third party by account payee cheque(e.g.goods purchases from abc ltd & payment made to xyz ltd by account payee cheque)

Good Day!! Can you be clear on the question are you talking about cash / crossed cheque payment or Account payee cheque. If you are making payment thru account payee cheque then there are no problem. Regards, Sunil Keep Smiling

Yes, this type of entries are called adjustment entries.Care should be taken that this type of payment should be made by PAN holders only.
