Dear friends can any one clarify, Whether the Sea-Freight Payments made to Resident Shipping companies (like SCI) attracts TDS or not?(for goods shipped to overseas ports).

According to me TDS should be deducted as per the applicable rate if PAN carde is not provided.

Cs bijoy .. its applicable.only for payment in course of business of playing, hiring, leasing goods carrier, in our case it is see freight. Not goods carrier
