can anyone tell be the basis for case scrutiny by ito, what are the norms,pls tell in detail.and i urge u to share correct views.

The Cases for Scrutiny assessment is selected by the system and its not done mannually. Thedept has some criteria for selection based on which system chooses. Some the Criteria are ,,
Showing Business Losses/Dep Losses for more than 2 yrs, Too many Investments/ Loans &Advances, Too many indirect income, Where too many sub contracting is involved. Accumulated Loans & Sundry Crs etc etc . Salaried Class where GTI is more than 5 Lacs.
