Scientific Research asset sold without using it in business
if Scientific research asset acquire before commencement of business & sold without using it in business & sale price exceed actual cost of asset then capital Gain nature depend upon holding period or STCG arise ( same as depreciable asset)??

Not put to use, so not a depreciable asset. But the appreciation could be assessed under IFOS.
