Class of companies for which a form of balance sheet has been specified in or under the Act governing such class of companies are not covered under Schedule VI of the Companies Act (eg.:Banking Companies, Insurance Companies, Electricity Supply Companies etc...)
I agree with Srinath but for that type of company different format as per laws applicable to it's R provided,Such as Banking Regulations Act..................provide format for State of Affairs of Banking company.
my company, a pvt.ltd, is a ship owning company, which has bought a new ship in 15.2.2007. pl inform me the rate of depreciation allowed as per companies act for the accounts closing on 31.3.07.
