I am currntly living in a rented flat which is for residential purpose, However I wish to start some IT proprietary business from the same. For this I require NOC from my landlord to operate business.
Can any one provide me a sample for this NOC ?
Secondly, Does this need to be Registered/ Notery ?
Thirdly, What could be the stamp amount I may need to incur.

You simply have to open a bank account with the name & style you want to work. But if you are liable for state VAT or service tax registration, then you have to obtain VAT and/or service tax registration. Further, for sole proprietorship, no separate income tax PAN is required. The PAN of the proprietor will be the PAN of the firm and proprietor will have to file income tax return in his personal name.

o 2. Firm Name and Firm Address
o 3. Two Photos of the Proprietor
o 4. Objects of the Business
o 5. One ID proof – Voter ID or DL or Passport
o 6. One electricity bill or water bill of office premises.
o 7. NOC from the landlord of the premises.
o 8. Rent agreement
o 9. Please also give us the date of commencement of business
o 10. First Copy of Invoice showing Sale/Purchase
o 11. In case of sole proprietorship, please attach an affidavit attested by notary public.
o 11. Letter Head & Rubber Stamp ( Address & Prop.)

the landlord 's noc is a general form. there is no prescribed format.THIS CAN BE GIVEN ON PLAIN PAPER OR LAND LORD LETTERHEADSAS PER PROFORMA GIVEN BELOW.
