Same person,same state,separate businesses with different trade names ,is separate GSTIN needed ?

In case a person have GSTIN and same person starts a new business with different trade name .

In such case can he use same GSTIN of his old business or have to apply for new GSTIN ? 

Both businesses are of different type e.g. pharmaceuticals(name ABC) and the new one of clothes (name XYZ) and use different trade names .

Same GSTIN, but can have different business vertical under same GSTIN.

Agree with rambhia Sir , I think you have to add another new business in current GST registration certificate as additional place of Business . please confirm with GSTN help desk .
