In rule 46(b) it is given for same financial year not for next so u can issue same invoice number in next financial year
Yes, same invoice number can be issued in different financial years. In gst we have to issue unique invoice number for the financial year not for the whole business life.
My suggestion is that :
Dont issue same invoice number.
Dont issue same invoice number.
Same invoice number can be issued in next financial year provided date of invoice is not the same.
