Can a firm get registered under a firm name which is already used by another firm registered under different gst registration.

As per my view.,
The already registered name is registered under trademark then no way for use the same name by any others...

There is no such restriction under GST because in GST what matters is the PAN.
Trademark registerd name can't be using by any other to any of the tax regime...
If the other firm is owned by same management then you may use.
Else the other firm may sue you if they have registered under trade mark...

GST is issued on pan number linked.
