Sales Return under GST

If sales return after one month from invoice date, in that case what about GST on sales return?
Can we claim input credit on such return?

@ Ms Sayali.,

In GST no rules for 6 months periods. You can doing the same next FY September GST returns...

It's means if the sales in April-19 (also Mar-20) then You can account the sales return on or before September-20 GST returns...

If B2B you have raise credit note for GSTR1 or if it in B2C you have to amend the b2c of the respective month. in the GSTR3B reduce the sales return in the respective month sales and tax as well.
