Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to report the sale of unlisted shares within the GST framework. While shares are generally considered outside the definition of goods and services and thus not subject to GST, clarity is sought on their reporting in GSTR1. The consensus is that these transactions do not require reporting in GSTR1 as they fall outside the GST purview, although the option of reporting them under 'Non-GST Supplies' is also mentioned.

It is not covered under goods / service definition as per gst hence it is not required to show in gstr1
Yes share is out of purview of GST , hence no need report the same in GSTr 1
Thanks for the reply. But someone also suggesting to show in the Non Gst Supplies.
