Sir i have a manager in my hotel (small hotel) where i pay salary ₹22000 pm to the manager and i don't have any other persons except my cook (₹10000 pm) and helper (7000 pm) in my hotel weather my hotel. weather i have to deduct any tax from the manager or i can directly pay ₹22000 to him.? please advise me

Rs. 22,000 x 12 Months = Rs. Rs. 2,64,000/- 

 

It is exceeding IT Slab Limit so you need to deduct TDS on the salary paid to him. You can also ask him to provide for details of Insurance and Deductible Investments as eligible under IT Act.  

Not required to deduct tds because
22000×12= 264000
tax on such income will be Nil by taking into rebate u/s 87A
Your not required to deduct Tds from salary, Upto 5 lakhs salary p.a as there is rebate u/s 87a upto 12500 tax amount.
Rs 22000×12 month = 264000/-
it exced the limit.

OR

tax under old regime.
First decide that.
