salary cycle period

hello all

If a company has a cycle period for salary starts from 26th to 25th of the month.............ie: 26th april to 25 may then shud i book whole salary in the books on 25th of May or on dated 31st May?????

as salary shall be paid on 7th of the every month.

Its makes any wrong impact in books just beacause of that the salary for 5 days or 6 days (for aprilmonth) shall be booked in May month or 5 days salary for may month less booked ????????
