I have been taking lots of input as to which self study book shall I get for SFM final and i am getting SD BALA and AN SRIDHAR as the most popular recommendations.
So, I want to know which book out of these to should I get keeping self study in mind.

both are good books.
s.d bala give indepth knoledge abt subject.bt shridhar is best exam point of view.
GO FOR SHRIDHAR....SHORT AND ENOUGH FOR EXAM
Some days back i was also in the same dilema ..... I verifid both the books..and finally stick to A.N.Shridhar....
i don't know why others feels that this book is not good for concept clarity.....
A.N.Shridhar is bible of SFM...for both concepts and problems...refer only one book...A.N Shridhar....
Purchase its latest edition i.e 6TH.....it includes one new chapter ' Interest rate derivative swap ' which was not in 5th edition....
