Rupee marginally down against dollar in early trade
Indian rupee declined against the greenback in morning trade on Monday. Rupee was down marginal by 0.01 paise or 0.02% against USD to Rs 52.09 (09.24 a.m.).
At 09.26 a.m., the Sens*x was trading up 31.70 points or 0.18% at 17,405.54 with 20 components gaining. Meanwhile, the Nifty was trading higher by 12.55 points or 0.24% at 5,303.40 with 36 components gaining.
In the spot market, the Dollar Index increased 0.10% to 79.27 (23:54 ET).
Euro - USD was trading at 1.31 down 0.20% while USD - Japanese Yen was trading at 81.29 down 0.29% (23:46 ET).
