what is the logical concept behind the rupee devaluation or depreciation against the dollar??. why rupee is compared against dollar? how it impacts the economy??

Worldwide trade is done upon dollor. that's y most of the currencies is compared mainly with dollor and any impact on dollor is also affect the opposite currencies and economy.
moreover dollar is strong currency and ruppee is weaker currency so depreciate against dollar
