Rtp... all about rtp

Latest RTP and MTP's are must.....

If you have time then go through the previous ones too

But in case of DT and IDT be sure of latest amendments while refering to past RTP's and MTP's

Better you select practice manuals (latest, if possible) rather than refering complilation because ultimately both are one and the same in almost all aspects

wat do u mean by MTP??

MTP's are Mock Test Papers issued by ICAI and uploaded on official web site on BoS Knowledge Portal before 20-25 days of commencement of exams.

These MTP's are designed  specifically for students to evaluate themselves as to how much they can do in 3 hrs .

These are nothing but 3 hrs question papers ,

in total Instiute updates 4 papers for each subject for every attempt.

Many braches of ICAI are conducting exam using these MTP's

These are juzz like pre board exams like we used to have in +2 .

No idea , generally these mock tests are conducted in last 1 month before exams...

again it depends on yr respective city branch arrangements.

In other way you can also get the photo copy of MTP's and can  write papers at yr home taking three yrs time as per yr flexibility

I can understand that time is always a major problem for all of us.....,, but if urnt having attempt dz nov, u can do everything in a best way....

When it comes to preaparing from RTP's and MTP's,

U shud try 2 spend atleast 1 yr for past rtps if possible or prac. manuals

For MTP's , u must get ready with yr 80-90% syllabus atleast b4 20 days of yr comming exams

It is recommendatory that i shud do minimum two 2 MTP's for each subject

In the first round u can go by 1st paper to last paper

and in the 2nd round u can go reverse so by the time u complete yr 1st papers MTP for 2nd round yr actual examination will be at yr door steps n u will be much more confident with yr biginning of ICAI exams

It depend from a person to person bcoz u may have a diff. study methedology but at the same time u must b sure that u have given due respect and compliance to ICAI's publications 

but kushal u know series 2nd of MTP will be released just before exams

so how can he do 2nd series

manoj : MTP's are test series with 

Feb , march for may attempt

and August sept for nov attempt

For one attempt in total 4 papers are uploaded , lets say for Feb. edition : Series 1 and Series 2

Suppose for NOV 13 attempt , none of d 4 are uploaded by ICAI even 15 days b4 exams

den d best thing wic u cn do is select series of Feb and March edition
