As per the merger Reliance Power shareholders will get four RNRL shares for each share held and RNRL shareholders will get one Reliance Power shares for every four held. The exchange ratio is based on valuations by KPMG.

Am holding 200 shares in Reliance power and 500 shares in RNRL.

My question is how many shares i will get? If u say,

200*4=800 of RNRL and 500/3=166 shares of RPL.

is the above calculation is correct ?

Dear Sudeep,

U will get 800 Shares(200*4) in exchange of your RPL Shares and 125 Shares(500/4*1) in exchange of your RNRL Shares.

Yes, 800 + 125 = 925 Shares.

According to Bansal i would get 925 shares in Amalgamated company but its not so because am holding shares in both companies and as per the calculation done by santosh looks correct. morever RPL and RNRL scrips will be remained listed in BSE separately. so where is the question of getting 925 shares ?
