Role of a cma

Dear Friends,

I have joined in a manufacturing company as a Cost Accountant.

One of my role here is to monitor and control labour allocation.

Can any one please guide me what are the control aspects practically we can check 

This is a food industries, as a cost accounatnt where else we can monitor...any check list please provide me ?
