DId you file Form 11 on or before 30th May, 2016??

If not, then to avoid paying adidtional fees, you can close your first financial year by 31.03.2017 instead of 31.03.2016.

However, if the company LLP has filed its Income Tax Return in 2016, then it is mandatory to file LLP return in 2016 itself.
