my client has received notice under risk management process for claiming refund for a y. 18-19.how to cope with the situation.

this is what I wrote long time back.
stage 1 ...process return and give refund.
stage 2 ... doubtful cases send notice ask for info politely.
stage 3.... info not correct or no revision trigger scrutiny.
value of refund is immaterial as kn genuine cases even more than 2 lac refunded without any question.
this is only for doubtful cases....
